上次問大家第一代 Baby Taylor 藏住啲咩「高成本特別結構」，見到大家估 Tuning Head 又估 No Binding，答得好踴躍！😂
呢個秘密隱藏得極深，淨係睇外觀係完全睇唔出嘅——答案就係：Klein Style Arch Brace（Klein 式拱形背板梁架）！
💡 呢個結構到底有幾勁？
當年 Taylor 為了打破小 guitar 音色乾硬嘅宿命，不惜成本採用呢種極之繁複嘅工藝，仲要特意用實木 Maple 彎曲製作！
傳統結喺 Neck Joint 位置上緊弦線嗰陣，會產生一股向內嘅拉力，直接抑壓住面板嘅震動。但透過 Klein Style Arch Brace 呢種拱形槓桿原理，可以將呢股抑壓面板嘅受力，直接引導散開到琴身四周（Rim/Ribs）。
結果？面板中央可以做得更薄，震動得更自由、更大聲，音色自然更優美共鳴！

The secret sits deep inside where you can’t see from the outside: the Klein Style Arch Brace.
Back then, Taylor went above and beyond to beat the tinny sound typical of travel guitars. They used this intricate, high-cost bracing design—specifically crafted from custom-bent solid maple.
On standard guitars, string tension creates an inward stress at the neck joint that suppresses the top. The Klein Style Arch Brace redirects those forces into the outer rims/ribs instead, so the centre of the soundboard can be thinner, vibrate more freely, and sound bigger and richer.
I really admire Bob Taylor and the team for solving real acoustic problems, rather than taking factory shortcuts.
This 1st Gen also got our Setup service—Silver or Gold—to bring neck angle, action and resonance back into shape.
